ETrade IPO Allocation Goes Lottery... I just got off the phone with ETrade Customer Service...According to the Rep. I spoke to "E*Trade is no longer allocating IPO's of FCFS basis...it is some what like a lottery..." Rep. even had mentioned that this is due to "software" people are using to get an early IOI's... So, I think, Just getting the IOI and hoping to luckout.. Good Luck all!

HiSpeed, Man, I feel sorry for you. But you thought yours was bad? I noticed the IPO at 5:30:54pm, but I couldn't log on into the java window because it kept saying "authorization failed". I called my girlfriend and asked her to log on to her account from home, she couldn't either. Dude, don't get frustrated by Etrash. IT IS NOT WORTH IT. I had this kind of problem at least three times during the courses of last two months. What can you do? Calling Etrade, yeah right. Their reps are poorly-informed at best, or downright stupid at worst. I learned stop arguring and aggravating myself for the sake of sanity. There is no point to fight with Etrade, either way, you lose. For the record, I did get in around 5:56pm, a whopping 26 minutes from the time I saw it. The chance that I got in is more dismal than the condition of etrade's server. Oh well, take it easy man. Hey, maybe in this market, not getting it might be a blessing in disguise:-) Tig
