I haven't been able to get any details of the AOL server farm, but my suspicion is that it may be NAS rather than FC. I have tried writing and calling their technical people. Maybe one of you AOL subscribers out there has the secret, but somewhere there must be a diagram or a plan. I also thought that any FC company or organization (barring NDA) would want to brag about it if they were part of the plan.

The numbers they post about AOL also make the Northern Trust figures even more impressive - $200M/yr on just technology:
