Heck...even I, a novice could make a good stab at the economy, tech stocks, valuations and the price of AOL...in a WEEK OR TWO OR MORE...we could probably do it just as well as any pundit on CNBC...so I don't think that really counts at THIS point in time...

Bridge Player, this is a quote from your April 19 post: "The Internet mania is over, folks. The only remaining question is how low they will go." As far as I can tell you only made one trade re: your convictions... Why did you not put your money where your thoughts/mouth were? You would be a very rich person today! You just joined SI in March of this year. If you had been a member over the last 2 years would you have trumpeted your "The Internet mania is over..." mantra the 4 or 5 times we have been thru similar patterns just to have been proven wrong by the sharp moves back higher ?
