Larry:

The easiest one to spot is the sub .10 stock that has little to no volume for several days and then has an unusually high volume day. After looking at the trading log, many times you will find no small block buys, but rather several large block buys, e.g. maybe three buys of 100,000 shares and four buys of 50,000 shares. Many times all of these transactions occur within just a few minutes of each other. Then go to sites like SI and RB and see who is posting on those threads ;)

Take care,
Paul

I thought a "pump and dump" was what most people did after a long night of drinking back in college. Guess I was wrong.
