Over the past several months I have developed a program to scan for OTC BB stocks that exhibit positive changes in volume and/or price trend. When these scans are combined with some rudimentary technical analysis, I have found that I have been coming up with an adequate list of stocks to "farm" for potential longs. In many instances, the scan only reveals stocks that may be good for a day trade, others show more "character" and are indicative of a longer term uptrend, while a final portion were no more than a "head fake" and dwindle away.
I have routinely found stocks that are about to be "pumped and dumped" as well because the people behind such activities often get in just one day before they start the hype and leave their "fingerprints" ---so beware!
In no way do I make a recommendation to buy or sell any stock. I am just merely listing the stocks which appeared as the result of the scan. In the interest of time I will try to keep the list short by only displaying those stocks that appeared to be strongest at the time of the scan.
All scans are done with closing day prices and in most instances I will only indicate the symbol of the company because that is all I have myself. I scan over 3500 OTCBB stocks, but by no means is this a complete list. Should you want me to add one to my scan, just PM me with the symbol.
Because I live on the East Coast, expect the list to be updated rather late at night. I will attempt to do this after each market close as long as there appears to be interest on the thread.
The reason for starting this thread is simple: I just don't have the time to constantly do the DD on every stock that gets listed. However, many of you might find a company about which you do have some knowlege. So please share it with the thread. And most importantly, use this as a learning experience and have fun!
