Taf and all,

I was just wondering what style of trading folks on this thread employ? Do you follow a small handful of stocks and trade those everyday? Do you have a larger number of stocks that you scan looking for particular patterns? What styles have you found successful? Playing only those stocks in the news?

The most successful traders that I know only play about (6) or so stocks. They really know how their stocks react to different market conditions and try and play off of that. I know of one gentleman that only follows (4) stocks that trade on the NYSE. He trades a lot of shares and is basically a "specialist" in those stocks. He has learned how the specialists in those stocks tend to move them and just goes with the flow.

Any thoughts?

Leland

Taf, you said, "Some of the systems... An example of which is deltatrader.com"

Sorry for being a little dense, but I'm not sure why DeltaTrader is any different from other online brokers. I've looked over their site and they appear to sell order flow. What's the difference between them and say, ETrade?

This is not just a passing question. DeltaTrader is the first order entry system that QCharts is interfacing with. If it's any good, I'll switch immediately.

Regards,

Dan.

Taf,

Are you familiar with a magazine called "Financial Trader?" I thought that they had a website but I can't seem to locate it. I am looking for an article that they did on the specialist system sometime back.

If anyone has knowledge of this publication please let me know.

Thanks,

Leland
