I understand what you are saying about the internet and I don't doubt that there will be some amazing winners in the field but I honestly can't see the prospects of another version of the Home Shopping Network.

I live in Toronto and I have to say there is nothing on the Canadian site with respect to computer equipment that I cannot find at a better price at a store. I know, because I've bought a new monitor, printer, and scanner in the last two weeks and I've spent a fair amount of time comparing prices. Now, mind you, we're talking about a metropolitan area with almost 5 million people so there's bound to be a lot of competition at the retail level.

I'm not disputing the company's technology but it's got to find a niche if it wants to remain a player on the retail level. I don't see computer peripherals, excercise gear, electrical appliances, etc. adding that much to earnings.

ATTENTION EVERYONE! SIR VINNY SAYS BIDS LIVE AUCTION HAS TECHNICAL PROBLEMS!
Here is his quote:

>>As far as problems with the live auction, you must keep in mind that changes will be occurring in the Hardware side of the internet. 56K modems will soon be history. The new 1 meg modems or Cable modems will resolve many of the problems experienced when viewing such things as the live auction.
