John, from a legal standpoint, you may well be right; Business Wire may well have pierced their own hull. From a moral standpoint, I hope such lawsuits don't happen. Business Wire, PR Newswire, and to a large extent SI represent portals for free speech. If Business Wire gets sued because they suddenly admit liability they may take everyone else with them. At least you can be sure someone will at least try to use such precedent to sue the others. Heck, SI has already been sued for some of the stuff we members have written despite all their disclaimers. Alas, you may be right; the genie may well be out of the bottle. If so, it really is too bad.
