Bill,

I have the same view about the fillie potentially getting an easy lead. She does worry me a bit. The downside is that I think this is a very bad spot to test her against colts. Very few fillies want to go
1 1/2 miles on the dirt. It's going to be tough and she may get overbet because her record is so outstanding against other fillies.

I thought Charismatic beat Menifee fair and square last time. But I thought Menifee was better in the Derby even though he lost.

So I see them as sort of even (give or take) based on the first 2 legs. Menifee's overall record suggests to me that he might be the better of the two over time. Charismatic may just be very sharp right now with the potential for heading south. We'll have to see. At the probable odds I'd rather have Menifee on top. The betting will be interesting.

Bill, Now that you and Wayne and your Florida friend are on Patience, I think his jockey will be George Foreman riding side saddle. <g>
