Well I think you should begin looking under lots of leaves then, not just jgilbert. As for getting back to the topic, have you read the Application for Organizing a Thrift? Have you reviewed the process of applying? Can you rationalize on the basis of OTS published information how anyone can claim that John Schmitz is submitting to FBI background checks for an application that is not yet filed? I have never applied for permission to be a Federal Thrift, but as far as I'm concerned, after reading about the process and after reading the application, it doesn't take a hen to tell a bad egg on this topic.
