TA, core cpi excludes oil prices, which is why everyon was up in arms about it. You can have the last word. I try to look at things the way the Fed does, not what I really believe. Greenspan's recent statements inicate a shift from reactive policy to pre-emptive. He has given the world clear warning of a hike for the reasons stated and others. Disagree with them, but never bet against the FED.
