So what are the hours on this Fourth Shift?.... Midnight to Noon?... Is VLNC on a different time standard in NI, where the days are 32 hours long ? Actually "Fourth Shift" is a MRP enterprise software tool ! It should allow them to use their resources better.

FOURTH SHIFT is an MRP software tool. Careful John, you are getting carried away with this. But OTOH, the job posting is pretty interesting. Why would one hire a professional MRP (Materials Requisition and Planning)person unless you needed someone to coordinate large scale material purchases coordinated with production schedules. In other words, you wouldn't bring a fairly expensive salary like this on-line until you were in the process of purchasing large amounts of material for an ongoing production process. And not before large scale production began. This is a pretty good clue that mass production on several lines, operating several shifts, is indeed underway in NI. Paul
