My guess is At&t will voluntarily open up those lines. They will not want to battle with every city, only to lose...and if they don't lock something up with aol's 19 million sets of eyeballs, they will be making a large mistake...imhooc

Nat,

I have been out most of the day and I'm still catching up on news ect. What I have read looks very positive for AOL. TA is looking good into close and we seem to have had some short positions closing out based on the pop up.

For that little something extra we also have earnings season knocking on our door not to mention the support at $105 holding like a steel plate.

I'm looking forward to Monday.

Loving it,

Vendit

This is what I was thinking, and it became true. I think AOL
has lot of political push and is being exerted from all possible fronts. Also look at this link to see how they have cornered both parties.

Sir Judge in Portland has provided the short-term boost for our
warrior against the giant T. This is an interesting ruling as AOL
and RBOCS have lot of friends at local levels (city, county, state)
and is not in good terms with FCC, it will be a long drawn battle for
T and it won't be resolved unless Supreme court hears the case. That will
put brakes on T and ATHM's momentum and that is what AOL and RBOCS
needed (and Doctor ordered) to make DSL as wide spread on a competitive scale
as possible.
ATHM going south and AOL is going north.
