All I can say is that anyone buying or selling AOL (or ATHM) on the basis of court rulings is nuts. AOL could do a much better job of defining its business strategy for broadband, but they do have a lot of irons in the fire, including wireless, DSL, and satellite. And cable is not out of the question, by far. ATHM has the inside track on cable for now, but anyone would be nuts to think the courts would let T regain a monopoly through cable, after they were broken up for creating a monopoly with copper lines. That is like letting OJ become a marriage counselor in Pasadena instead of Burbank. There may be a lot of turf battles over the next few years, and AOL and ATHM/T might win some, lose some, but in the end these two companies will be the leaders, IMO. Well, AOL will, ATHM still has a lot of proving to do.

>>>AT&T appeals the ruling, will AOL tank again?
<<<<

Of course AT&T was going to appeal. But they won't win. AOL is going towards 130 next week. Might even get there on Monday on a short squeeze. There are so many shorts out there now who thought AOL would get down into the 90's so tey were shorting in the 105-115 range. Now when AOL gaps up over 120 on Monday they will have to cover. If the market is ralying at al AOL wil go right to 130. The sellers are gone and people will not want to miss a chance to buy AOL this cheap. They will not be seeing these prices again until after it splits again when it hits 200 by years end.
I hiope no one misses this chance to get in on the king of the internets. What a gift having AOL back in the low 100's. ALmost too easy making money that way.

Here's to the shorts. You'll make the squeeze and huge rise happen next week. Thanks for the easy money.
