If eCommerce indeed is the future, I expect advertising budgets to undergo serious expansion, as establishment costs nose dive and commoditization sky rockets. The "if" is the problem. E-commerce will be a small part of retail.

From IVIL's 10-Q. They are largely dependent on ads. " Moreover, software programs that limit or prevent advertising from being delivered to an Internet user's computer are available. Widespread adoption of this software could adversely affect the commercial viability of Internet advertising."
