meathead: can you explain to me how anything to do with frito has even the slightest thing to do with dell's problems? I personally don't find this at all interesting...in fact sounds like a lot of bs to me.

Meathead,
Hi!!!

RE: Jerome Gregoire, CIO responsible for the company's worldwide
information systems was recruited from Pepsi Co.

Strong leadership candidates exist outside the high tech
sector. Mr. Allen as Sr. VP of operations at Frito likely
knows a thing or two about manufacturing, logistics and
supply chain concepts.

Besides, he will be trained by Mr. Maxwell and will report
directly to Mort... were still in good hands.

Curious....what more do you possibly know about his role at DELL??? Any opinions...

Obviously....DELL has a purpose for him....Michael in one of his early speeches was "cornered" into admitting his fear....I believe he replied that "FINDING QUALIFIED PEOPLE TO GUIDE OR DIRECT THE PLANNED HYPER GROWTH OF DELL...." paraphrased of course..so naturally....I'm curious every time he brings in someone of executive status...Nice to see he reports to Mort...I told Mort last year before the shareholders that my thanks go out to you for keeping all that young testosterone in line... :o) He shook my hand so hard I wanted to BUY MORE DELL on the spot...

Best, kemble.
