Absolutely phenomenal, Kerry, 96% in 3 weeks. No wonder the shorts came running, which only served to feed the flame that's burning right under their feet. Teehee. The MMs chortled too while they squoze the vainglorious kneejerk shorts. A lot of "Ooops!" resounded. The emotionally impaired laggards will be dumb lucky to dive for cover at twelve. Gotta love this Fibre Channel conflagration

Gotta love this Ancor/Sun confabulation too. Congrats all around are in order. The Dot Deal was long fought and hard won. Ancor secures a major slice of the internet pie and the creative incentive makes a good mattress for a seductive growth rate. Throws a couple of winks at the big boys, neh? Timing is everything. Thanks for always "being there." I love you, dude.

So happy I gotta sing (atrociously).

oooeee ride me high
tomorrow's the day
my bride's gonna come...

oooeee we gonna fly
down in the easy chair.

Douglas-san

Kerry,

I've seen you say this before and always find it disconcerting, since at one point I was responsible for sales at Brocade. I do not know ANY vendor in the high tech business that during objection handling does not underscore their company's product strengths, this in turn points out their competitors weaknesses. So please stop insulting all of our intelligence with this dribble about scorched earth and get a grip on reality. It's how sales is done, and the Ancor salesforce does the same thing. A case in point was when ANCR had loop attach before Brocade, they played it to the hilt.

Comment on your PS Note. The over allotment was very small, and there were few if any favors handed out. have you missed the WSJ articles about the investment banks getting nailed for doing the "favors" you are suggesting?

What I do not admire about Brocade is their historical pattern of questionable business ethics and scorched earth tactics of bad-mouthing their competitors and spreading falsehoods

PS - what makes you think that BRCD customers/prospective customers did not have the "opportunity" to participate in the IPO via "Friends of the Company" program? Sounds "creative" to me..

Hey K.L., how's it going? What ever happened to "Terer", or "Planelane"?
