Eventually, you'll be able to get everything - TV signal, internet access, local & long distance phone service (as many lines as you like) down one pipe, be it cable or DSL, so the need for second phone lines will evaporate.

I already have the first two of these through my cable hook up, when the third piece is available, it's adios to Bell Atlantic and their monopolistic rip off local phone service rates.
