When I talk to minority people about power and social cast they usually lump poor whites in with their plight. Poor whites are not the people in union jobs. They are the people working for minimum wage with no benefits and worse.

Gee, when you put it that way it is practically tautological, since they wouldn't be "alpha males" unless they were highly competitive and successful...Do you think that anyone who sweated the hurdles to achieve something is eager to "share" the fruits of victory with anyone not a friend or relative? Are "alpha females" (and I have known some) much different in this regard? Are "black alpha males" (and, again, I have known some)?
