Project results....Week 4.
I've tightened up the intraweek % gain to 5% or greater to achieve
more than an entry of "na". In other words, if the intraweek gain is
not 5% or more, the % intraweek gain will be "na" (non-appreciable).

32 stocks.....11 (34%) of which showed intraweek gains of 10% or
more during a week that the DJIA was down 4 days out of 5.
Only 3 stocks in the group closed the week with a greater than 10%
loss. None of those 3 ever met the buy criteria in the first place.
I think just about every internut lost 15% or more this week.

A look at each chart again shows that an initial move over Friday's
close on significant volume (as compared to that stock's avg) is a
solid buy signal. A judgement as to whether a stock will trade on
greater than average volume must be made during the day as trading
is in progress. If avg is 100K and a move up on 45K is seen within
the first couple hours of trading, that's a buy signal as long as the
bid/ask size can stay mostly positive.
Initial stop should be a mental stop at or just below
Friday's close.

Follow price increase up with trailing stops. For a time horizon beyond
intraday to day activity, use trendlines of the type that would dictate
that a stock would become a repeater/carry-over.

I'll go over the repeater/carry-over portfolio next.

The project works very well.
