As mentioned in my previous note, thats what I thought also. I heard somewhere that the mutual funds have 72 hours for the reporting process, but I cant say if that is true or not and hope someone else could add to it.

However, it is simple enough just to check the charts, to see that the
bottom/beginninng of end of month rally is around the last 2 days of the month with follow-thru of 3-5 days into the next month.

vampire: Friday's pop is more of a sentiment dressing for eager bulls and joe six pack's weekend revue.

Specialist dramatically moving prices up like he/she did with AOL staged in unison with a justifying event is often used as a hook setting maneuver...to draw investors in...as they distribute and or sell short to satisfy the demand for buyers, they have created with the price movement. IE: Price movement, then volume follows.
