Now let me get this straight. You think "the people make the rules" and if we don't like it we can change them. And if we can't change we just die? or what? To hell with a democracy where a minority can't rise up and overthrow the bastards in charge. Civil disobedience is a great invention. Thoreau, Gandhi, King -- it works -- it's far less deadly than a bloody revolution or guerilla war. One man with Truth is a majority. It's so -- so -- civil. If the bad guys in charge want to shoot the protesters, wonderful. It just gets us more sympathizers. From time to time the tree of liberty must be fertilized by the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.
