Dave

"This has to be competitive with ATHM"

It is beyond competitive. DSL is here NOW, and I highly doubt you and I will opt for ATHM, RoadRunner, Highspeed Access Corp., etc after already paying the $300 for the DSL modem. On top of that, my e-mail won't even change since my bell is also my current ISP.

Thank God at least I have BRCM which will win whether its' DSL, cable modem, or set-top box.

Dave - (wasn't Dell, my mistake."

I was intrigued by the following: "I just discovered that I can get DSL with Bell Atlantic and dump a phone line and my ISP charge at almost a wash."

Does DSL eliminate the need for ISP'S or is your dsl connect also an ISP folded into dsl. Someone has to provide the "dial up", don't they?

Peter
P.S. I'm interested because ELNK is one of my core holdings. I'd hate to think that broadband could put them out of biz. I also know they offer dsl service.
