Since FFP is listed on the AMEX, an auction market, isn't there nothing to prevent you from placing a limit order at your desired price (say, 3/4 or 15/16)? Your order would be displayed, and you would have as much opportunity as anybody (and a higher priority than the specialist) of being filled.
