Chisy, if the electrolyte goo is filled at higher temperature than the maximum shipping temperature (and the temperature in a box car in the tropics can reach 140 F), there should be no problem in principle (there is a slight vacuum holding the stuff within the pores because of thermally induced contraction post filling), but in practice, until you do it, you really do not know.
