Lets discuss germane subjects like how MSO's will be able to accelerate the home installation process once the lines are in. I heard that Athm is adding about 15,000 new subscribers a week. I hope that Athm can triple that install rate soon. Is Athm adding new installation personnel to service their backlog? What else can Athm do to speed up the installations? Are we going to see computer makers start offering pre-installed cable modems? When will you be able to buy a cable modem off the shelf from the local retailers? Will there be a "plug n' play" set up for this service to speed up the truck rolls? Will we ever see a time when the need for a truck roll will be eliminated? Does your average cable line in the average home work for the Athm service or is a different cable required. These are questions I will ask my installer as soon as the service becomes available in my area, for now anyone have answers?

I hate the telephone poles too. It is the sign of the 20th century. When you are born and you see telephone poles outside, you might as well roll over and go back to dead, because you know this lifetime is a waste. It's definitely a bad enough of an idea to go back to ATHM.
