Re: You observations concerning (consterning?) HSA, many of the same thoughts went through my mind. I would not speculate extensively about them until I had the opportunity to see more into their game plan. You've undoubtedly already noticed their their disclosure is lacking, and doesn't come anywhere close to where ATHM's does, with regards to enumerating and describing their architectural plans and intentions. I also note that their target cable operators are those with significantly fewer homes passed than those of the gorillas. My first thought was that they were using a vertical blanking interval (VBI) approach, or maybe even a Worldgate approach, but later went on to read their claims, and like yourself now feel that they are chopping away at the downstream. Looking for more information on this upstart. I'd like to see more substantive coverage of what they do. Does anyone have any additional informtaion on this company?
