"Celeron sales are up 9.0% from April to March, while PIII is up 1.1%. Intel's share is
up 0.7% for the same month. If you don't see that the Celeron growth was at the
expense of PIII then you are in denial."

Please review your 6th grade arithmetic (ratios and fractions). If PIII share increased at all, Celeron's increasing share must have been at the expense of someone else (like AMD chips).

Oh, BTW, is your saying Paul was "in denial" your way of saying you thought he was all wet?

Kal Kan - Re: "Pentium III-based systems accounted for 7.8 percent of units sold, up from 6.7 percent in March... "

Going from 6.7% to 7.8% in one month is a 16.2% GROWTH for Pentium /// in one month.

Are you in DENIAL of this ?

Paul

PS - What was the Kmart 63 market share in March or April or May ?
