Colin, when you see a phrase in quotes that is italicized it means that it is a verbatim quote made by the author of the post to which I was responding. I made no statement that getting a margin call means someone was 'wrong'. I merely pointed out that having a short sale called in had nothing to do with margin.

Is suing your answer for everything? Yes, I know that a brokerage can change their maintenance margin requirements at their discretion. If people don't like the terms of their loans they should negotiate different terms before accepting them.

Colin,

Don't you read these posts? Mama's post was a reply to a reply to this post.

Investor-1 asked about a buy-in not a margin call....
Message 9961290

Investor-2 replied about a margin call, not a buy-in
techstocks.com

Mama then replied to Investor-2's error in thinking it was a margin call....

Your slanderous posts over the last couple days as well as your petty hair splitting arguments about shorting IPOs have greatly discredited you. I am most interested in how this turns out. Intelligent arguments back and forth is one thing, hell, even non intelligent arguments, but surely SI doesn't permit outright slanderous attacks such as yours.

I got a amrgin call on DLIA - not because it moved too much against me - but because they raiused the requirements to 100% maintenance. So that was an instance where i was right, but still got a call.
