Hi Jim, If I place a limit order for 500 to 1000 shares and wham it it all fills at once taht's a heads up for me, I start planing a early exit with a smaller profit right away. Interesting that you'd mention this. I've made the same observation. If it's "too" easy to get in, it usually means you'd better start looking for the exit. I get very few (very, very few) partial fills. But, as you say, it's all one commission anyway, so no harm done. Still, to get an immediate fill on 1000 shares is always a little scary to me.
