I understand that some anxious authors who have hit a dead end may pay something to get their book published in any form, but I cannot see the public demand for books that otherwise can't get published. It's hard enough to sell the New York Times bestsellers without offering huge discounts. I just don't see significant demand for either the service or the product.

This does not mean that I don't believe in Internet book publishing. Research will tell you that major publishers/media companies are pouring huge sums into perfecting this process, so that Stephen King's latest pageturner can be downloaded and read on line. On line book distribution is coming, but the big boys will dominate--big bucks are needed to sell books. This company, with its foreign-sounding press releases, will not be a factor. JMHO.

P.S. There was supposed to be a May 15, 1999 shareholders' meeting, but there's been no press release. Knowing you what at that meeting occurred?
