Surprise! Surprise!

Yesterday an absurdly large number of people were informed by SI that a subpoena had been served requring RB to divulge their registration and credit card information. The subpoena had been issued in the Western District Court of Washington, and was filed by Tobin M. Richter, attorney for Gary Dobry, who is not-so-fondly known here as "Pugs".

I'm one of those people, and I don't like it. I've been harassed, stalked, and threatened by Dobry for more than three years now, and I've had enough.

Note that none of the aliases subpoenaed are parties to the case. In the subpoena, Richter offers no indication of the reasons for this particular choice of names. I believe he is in fact required to do so.

This isn't a legal proceeding, it's a witch hunt. And we intend to stop it. SI has already been informed that a Motion to Quash will be filed.

Anyone one the list who wishes to join this action should PM me and I'll tell you what we're doing.

No SI member should be exposed to this kind of fishing expedition.

I'll put the text of the subpoena in the first post.
