Genesys develops telephony and telecommunications integration software. Its suite of open, scalable software is designed to allow businesses to integrate disparate telecommunications media with most major telephone systems and across most major computing platforms, operating systems, and databases. The software also provides call routing, outbound/blended dialing, real-time and historical management reporting, and Web-based telephony fulfillment. Genesys has licensed its software to more than 125 end users, including Ameritech, Bank of America, Charles Schwab, FedEx, Gateway 2000, MCI, and Sprint/United.
