My Explore Stocks gained 52.0% while the "Explore Portfolio" overall gained 27.5%, crushing the fully invested S&P 500 while my portfolio was about half in stocks! The company II-VI bought Finisar, then Coherent. After buying Coherent, it took the "less scientific" Coherent name, but the management was from II-VI which had just successfully integrated the Finisar acquisition. I used the similar weakness in the stock after announcing the acquisition to load up on more shares (mostly in my ROTH) which have done quite well for me as well as my newsletter subscribers.
