DIANOR INC. DOR-M closed today at .60 Dianor Inc. Shares outstanding 8,733,689 common shares Dianor's shares have been for 1996 among the 10 top % gainers on the Montreal Exchange. This is a very well run mining exploration company, head office in Montreal, it is run by David Mc Donald president, and Philippe Giaro vice-president, exploration. I have met both principals at there offices in Montreal and have done an in-depth due diligence report on the company. 52 week high is $1.50, low is 0.30. They have no debt there properties consists not only of gold, there's copper, zinc, nickel, silver. A diversified property portfolio, that will not drop through the floor every time gold takes a dive. Most of there properties are 100% owned no JV partners: ADANAC 100%(Rouyn-Noranda) major companies in the area bordering/near the property are: Falconbridge, Thunderwood, NSR, Noranda. The property is located some 10 KM southeast of Rouyn-Noranda, in Abitibi, Quebec. Access to the property is easy via Highway 117 then a road that crosses the center of the property, numerous trails allow access to various parts of the property. Previous exploration work on the Adanac property has localized numerous gold showings, the results from the fall 1996 and winter 1997 exploration programs give ample justification to continue exploration work on the Adanac property. A two phase exploration program is in the works. BLONDEAU 100% (Abitibi-Temiscamingue) The property is located 6 KM West of the village of Belleterre, in Temiscamingue, Quebec and consists of 50 contiguous claims, Access to the property is easy by way of Road 382 which passes 1.5 KM north of the claim, then by a gravel road, A two phase exploration program will look for identified numerous gold showings and geophysical anomalies, additional field work is necessary in order to better define gold mineralization. FOURNIERE 100% (Malartic) The Fourniere property is located in the township bearing the same name at a distance of 1.6 KM south of the town of Malartic. Access is easy by Fourniere Road which crosses the center of the property in a north-south direction, suppliers, contractors as well as qualified manpower are available in Malartic and Val-D'Or, which is an important mining and forestry locality some 20 KM east of the property. There is a poweline along the road. The Fourniere property is located in the Malrtic mining camp. There was six mines in the area which each produced more than a ton of gold metal during their operation. A two phase exploration program will look for two types of mineralization, Gold mineralization associated with intrusives (felsic porphyry dykes and diorite) within volcanic or sedimentary rocks, and gold mineralization associated with fractured and altered zones within sedimentary rocks. NIPISSO 100% (Sept-Iles) major companies in the area bordering/near the property are: Kennecott, INCO, Virginia, Azimut,Vior, Ste-Genevieve, these are all in Quebec. Surface exploration work carried out during the 1997 summer field season resulted in the discovery of disseminated sufide mineralization in a geological environment very favorable for the discovery of copper-nickel ore bodies. The NORTHWEST TERRITORIES 100%, major companies in the area bordering the properties (three TLF54547, WSF54548, MLF54549) are: Fortune Minerals, Avalon and GMD The properties are located about 150 KM northwest of Yellowknife, NWT. The favorable geology of this are has been the focus of growing attention since the recent discovery by Fortune Minerals Ltd on the NICO property which is 12 KM west of Dianor's property Fortune recently announced a 69.9 million tonne drill indicated resources on the NICO property. With encouraging preliminary results confirm the economic potential of the Dianor property. A follow up work program is currently being planned. PERU 100% (DON PEDRO IV), major companies in the area bordering/near the property are: Cristobal and American Barrick, located 250 KM north-north west of the town of Lima, access is easy by road, very little previous exploration work is reported from the property, several copper, lead and zinc occurrences are known in the area. The Pierina ore body discovered by Arequipa and recently acquired by American Barrick is located approximately 41 KM north of the Don Pedro IV property. This deposit contains ore reserves estimated at eight million ounces of gold. only NEWFOUNDLAND 50% (SISTER POND + SPLIT PONDS, Baie Verte) major companies bordering/near the property are: Mines Richmond, Sulliden, Noveder. The properties are located 3.5 Sister Pond and 8 KM Split Ponds northwest of Snook's Arm. During the winter, access to the properties is gained by snowmobile from the Snook's Arm winter parking lot, During the summer, access is more difficult, though it represents a one to two KM walk from the road that joins the Snook's Arm settlement and the Nugget Pond Mine. Previous work, carried out on both properties, confirms the potential for Mother Lode type gold mineralization, as outlined by low grade gold assays returned within the strongly altered ultramafic rocks and collected from rock, soil and till samples. Furthermore, the recent Nugget Pond deposit discovery, with reserves estimated at 348 294 tonnes grading 16.75 g/t Au, represents another type of gold mineralization warranting further exploration. The Outlook: The shares are held in tight control by insiders not a lot of movement to bring it to the $1.50 mark, in the last two weeks the stock was trading in the high .80's very very thin spread, there's news coming out in less than 1 week, good news that could take the stock up past $1.00 and they have some incredible news coming in the next month this could take it to $3.00. by the end of Feb. 98 Risk Factor (speculative buy) principals, have a great track record, and the company has high potential properties and they are in the process of acquiring more. This company has the management, properties, an aggressive acquisition program of high potential mining properties insures a stable stock that will grow THIS IS NOT A PUMP AND DUMP, expect $1.25 to $1.50 by the end of the year.
