This thread will be used in a structured and informative format that will uncover exciting option plays in ALL SECTORS. I would like you all to begin your thread with the call/put you are choosing... include also the strike price... A few words explaining your choice. This will uncover stock options that might be somewhat unusual, OSTE,PCAR,SDTI,RMDY,OREM,OIL,HYSW,CNTO,ECILF,ORBKF,KEA,CGX...but very, very profitable... We will always include our favorite high-flyers (DELL,CSCO,INTC,ORCL) but we would be missing some fabulous plays if we don't include the companies that EPS increase over 50% a year. I will be utilizing the typical strategies followed by McMillan..(trading volatility, call/put ratio, high delta,etc).. I will also be adding some innovative searches in a seasonal manner.. 1) One day Options good for daytrading 2) Volatility searches 3) Highest potential option appreciation following underlying stock appreciation of 5%.. 4) Options combined with stock momentum 5) Undervalued vs. Black Scholes 6) Options with negative/positive sentiment 7) Technical indicator searches 8) Low priced straddles 9) Low priced straddles on volatile stocks. 10) turn-arounds- with Undervalued Options. Some 'seasonal' searches will be implemented to coincide certain situations. I've had success with these options... 1) Options for Earnings: Positive/Negative Surprises. 2) Creme de la Creme Options whose underlying have very high relative strength (i.e. looking to enter from a breakout from a base, or on a pullback, stochastic indicator drops to the middle of its range of 0 to 100, options whose underlying pulls back to a well-defined rising trendline or moving average) 3) Options of down-beaten stocks that have HIGH fundamental ranks and just had a bad quarter, some story,etc.... 4) Puts whose underlying is in a downward spiral.. (i.e. EK,TWA,OIL, etc) 5) Options whose underlying have experience high insider buying/selling or have been buying back their stock...etc..etc. It is for the maximum benefit of all the members of the thread to keep to the topic, 2)keep conversation between posters relegated to e-mails, 3)enter your option choices before 9:30 and intraday updates as you discover them.. I will be soon getting some option software uniserv.com either Option Simulator,OptionVue or OptionPro.. so I can better track our options... An added incentive to make this thread a success will be integrating our posts to our undernet chat room on mIRC called #RTtrader..
