OFFSITE DATA SERVICES LTD. CLOSES MAXIMUM OFFERING

CALGARY, ALBERTA--

Offsite Data Services Ltd. (the "Corporation") is pleased to
announce that it has completed a closing of its public offering
of 3,200,000 Units at $0.25 per Unit. Each Unit consists of one
common share and one-half of one common share purchase warrant
("B Warrants"). Each whole warrant entitles the holder to acquire
one common share at a price of $0.40 any time before 4:30 p.m.
(Calgary time) on March 15, 2000. The Units were offered pursuant
to a prospectus dated February 25, 1999 pursuant to which Yorkton
Securities Inc. acted as agent. The prospectus also qualifies for
distribution 1,407,919 A Warrants and 2,815,838 Common Shares
issuable to holders of special warrants.

The Corporation has been advised by The Alberta Stock Exchange
that its Common Shares and B Warrants will commence trading on
The Alberta Stock Exchange on Tuesday, March 30, 1999. The Common
Shares of the Corporation will trade under the symbol "OS" and
the B Warrants will trade under the symbol "OS.WT".

The Corporation provides fully automated online data back-up,
storage and retrieval services using Harbor" software.
