CENT is a national distributor of lawn and garden and pet supply products. CENT also offers a broadening array of proprietary branded lawn and garden and pet supply products, including Four Paws(R), Zodiac(R), Kaytee(R), Nylabone(R) and Grant's(R). For the six months ended 3/27/99, net sales rose 36% to $675.1 million. Net income rose 28% to $15.1 million. Results reflect acquisitions, partially offset by increased debt to support the stock repurchase program.
