I hear often about charities that use high percentages of monies given for high salaries, unaccountable perks, etc. etc. Such as, the comments we heard after 9/11 about Red Cross and United Way. And more recently, about low/high salaries on others. I'm happy to give as I'm able, but really hate to have my donations go for a high lifestyle or big homes, cars, etc. Lets list our comments here in one place so that we can (hopefully) keep waste like that mentioned, to a minimum. Remember we're looking for good comments as well as "not-so-good" | ||||||||||||
