Introduction Compact

For those seeking a haven for a congenial discussion of public policy, current events, stocks, and anything else that the group wishes to discuss, we now have A Neutral Corner. Find yourself a comfortable chair, help yourself to a refreshing beverage of your choice, put on your thinking cap, and join in the conversation.

Experience has taught us that we need to set out a few rules about what is or isn’t acceptable behavior. Anyone posting here agrees to abide by these rules of posting:

1. No one person or group has a monopoly on truth. Blind partisans will be much happier posting elsewhere and are not welcome.
2. Personal attacks are not permitted.
3. Disparaging nicknames for participants or public figures are not permitted.
4. Posts should contribute to the advancement of discussion. No heckling, please.
5. Any poster may reply to, or comment on, any post made here as this is a public thread. Use PM’s for private conversations.
6. What a poster here says, or said, elsewhere is irrelevant to discussion here. Please do not link to comments on other threads.
7. Published articles of interest may be quoted at length and linked. As the primary purpose of this thread is discussion, personal commentary about the article should be provided.
