I am starting a thread on Alcan which controls a large percentage of the world's aluminum production. I would be interested to receive any comments or analysis from other traders who follow this stock. It seems to me that it should be the kind of stock that would be very suitable for trading based on technical analysis. The spot price for aluminum should have some impact on its tradings patterns. At this stage of the business cycle, resource plays like Alcan typically do quite well.
