Insignia Solutions of Mountain View, CA is the maker of NTrigue, a new product for runnings Windows NT, Windows 95, and Windows 3.1 programs and displaying them back on any X compatible computer (UNIX, VAX, Mac, or 386 PC w/ an X server). Information Week lists NTrigue as a "HOT" product. Its competition is WinDD (a Tektronix product which runs only on UNIX boxes). INSGY has dropped like a brick lately due to expected poor earnings to be reported the week of 29 Jan 1996. Their current earnings appear to come from a product called SoftWindows which is a PC emulator for non-PC platforms. Forget about SoftWindows, I expect NTrigue will be a big hit as long as the product is solid. Any thoughts? Is it a buy at $6. I expect to wait until after earnings come out. | ||||||||||||||
