Just had to start a thread on this UNDERVALUED stock.
The company distributes knitting machines manufactured in Italy to customers here in the US and in Mexico. I have watched this company since 1992 and annual EPS for 1992-1997 are as follows: $0.32, $1.03, $1.12, $0.40, $(0.17) and $0.80 for 1997. When things are good like in 1993 and 1994 EPS can exceed $1.00 and the stock traded as high as $20. The company today reported 4th quarter 1997 earnings of $0.28 vs $0.13 in 1996. Quarterly EPS for 1997 were $0.15, $0.10, $0.27 and $0.28. Looks like the company's operations are again on a roll. Last week the company announced over $9 million in sales of Sock knitting machines in August (1st qtr 1998). The first quarter is usually SPZN weakest quarter and sock machines HAVE BEEN a weak sales area for the company. Can you figure why I like this company's near term prospects!!! Oh ... did I forget to mention that with $0.80 EPS in the bank you can buy this stock for $6.75.

Near term target for SPZN is the $10-$12 area. (IMHO)

Good luck to all .... and I do already own this stock!

Chris .....
