Perhaps a forum to keep track of what the big producers are doing Even though spot gold tried to trend up a little, the XAU and AUX reflected considerable action of a few companies trending up. Have a look at the charts of Kinross, Barrick, Placer, Viceroy. The share price of these got hammered down a bit over the past ABX down from about $33 mid August to $29 and back up to close at $31 today Kinross $6.50 mid-August down to $5.5 early in the week and back up to close at $6.25 today. Placer down from almost $26 eaarly August to $21 early this week and back up to close at $22.20 today. Viceroy down from almost $4 in August to a low of $2.50 early this week, and back up to close at $2.80 in heavy trading today and will likely continue on up judging from the market activity and chart indications. Will most likely head back to $3.50, maybe next week. There are probably others on the move but these seem to have really taken the attention this week. | ||||||||||||
