EPIQ is a company that makes software that primarily deals with assisting the financial and management aspects of bankruptcy.

The company came public in February 1997 around 3.25 a share. Since then it has been a steady up pattern. According to IBD, their EPS rank is 99, and RS is 98. Their growth rate is 80% a year for earnings. Earnings and revenue went yearly:

1994 .03 4.98 mil
1995 .05 5.23 mil
1996 .11 6.10 mil
1997 .19 (estimate) and already 5.9 mil this year in revenue.

Total shares surmount to 3.4 million, while there is only 1.6 million float.

Today the stock advanced 5/8 to 9.5 on volume of 63,300. That's quite a bit more than the average volume of 16,800.

Interest income for the first nine months 1997: 48,490
1996: 43
3rd quarter 1997: 16,633
3rd quarter 1996: 5

So we see interest income is growing, and on this small amount of shares that is significant. Meanwhile interest expense is shrinking:
