Introduction Compact

My coin dealer is using expressions like "Business
is slow"... "You can't go wrong at these prices"..."Selling silver dollars by the pound"...Another dealer says junk(90% coins) is the best bet. Morgans,Franklins,and gold eagles seem to be bargains now. I am a bit leery of the miners and I am buying various coins. Any advice from other collectors will be appreciated.
