Rovac and Friatec AG Negotiating Agreement for
CinchLock Connectors

Rochdale, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 30, 1998--Rovac Corp. (OTC:ROVC - news), a developer of proprietary connecting devices and patent holder for CinchLock and CinchFree, Tuesday announced they have received a proposal from Friatec AG, Mannheim, Germany, for a
seven year exclusive sales/license pact for products applicable to European industrial plastic pipe systems and sanitary waste markets.

The license proposal includes the use of Rovac technology covered by European patents.

Key components of CinchLock would be manufactured by Rovac in Massachusetts. Friatec would incorporate CinchLock components into its products for field-testing, marketing and distribution intothe European markets.

Rovac management and legal counsel are reviewing the proposal. At present, Rovac expects to successfully conclude negotiations.
Friatec AG was founded in 1860. The company is organized in three operational sections and subdivided into six divisions, with 30 subsidiaries; 11 of which are manufacturing plants in Germany.
The Technical Plastics Division is the leading provider of HD-PE safety fittings for gas, water and industrial pipelines and waste water systems. Sales for Friatec are approximately $3 billion annually.
