The Company employs proprietary and purchased software to provide claims processing, management and collection services to its customers, which are primarily hospitals and medical clinics. The Company's basic service is designed to provide an electronic claims processing, management and collection service that expedites payment of claims from private insurance carriers or government payors such as Medicare and Medicaid. The Company also offers to its customers processing and collection services for uncollected "backlog" (aged) claims that were not originally submitted through the Company's system.
