Welcome to the discussion thread on Global Media Corp. OTC:BB GLMC
My name is Sheldon Karlson and I work for Global Media in the capacity of Investor Relations Rep. Global Media Corp., a Fully Reporting Issuer, initiated trading Monday August 24th on the OTC:BB under the symbol GLMC. Trading began $1.

Global Media specializes in the use of technology and the integration of sophisticated multi-media communications to be on the leading edge of marketing and distribution of entertainment products over the Internet. Through its wholly owned subsidiary, Global Media Entertainment, the Company will sell CD's, video cassettes, magazine subscriptions and other entertainment product through a series of Internet web sites. The Company will also be a major participant in the newest method of music and video distribution via direct Internet download. Through its subsidiary Global Media Communications, the Company will coordinate marketing, sales and order taking for Global Media Entertainment.

Using a combination of Internet, telephone and direct marketing systems, Global Media has generated in excess of $ USD 4 million in DTH satellite sales. Expanding on the sales models of such companies as Amazon.Com and CD NOW, Global Media will use innovative new revenue models such as licensing variations of its front end web site for use
by third parties on a revenue sharing basis.

Using superior, cost effective marketing strategies, Global Media will be well positioned to take advantage of the emerging online music sales industry already being targeted by K-Tel. Using download and encryption technology such as provide by Liquid Audio liquidaudio.com / Global Media will be a major participant in the changing paradigm of both music and video sales and distribution.

Just imagine:
People worldwide now being able to download (in their home) digital quality music or video direct to your home entertainment system. How about no more movie rentals, no more late charges, no more scratched CD's?

Have you ever bought a CD and only liked two maybe three songs? Have you ever paid late charges on movie rentals? I have ! Global Media has the solution. Users will be able to download various songs and make their own mixed CD's. Encryption -NO PROBLEM that has been adressed. The Company will also allow the user to download digital video when that technology becomes available. (This will happen sooner than you think). For now hardcopies will be marketed.

Again welcome to the forum. Please discuss this between you all. I will be posting here quite regularly.
If need be, I can be reached by E-mail at skarlson@gmcorp.net
Thank-you.
