Hoovers Description..

Using a computer to buy computers -- what a concept! pcOrder.com develops application software and databases (including a catalog of more than 600,000 products from 1,000 manufacturers) that help suppliers, resellers, and corporate end users buy and sell computer systems and related products via the Internet. The company's software includes modules that compare computer system configurations, enable online ordering, facilitate financing, and deliver marketing information. Customers include Compaq and other top manufacturers, retailer Computer City, and systems integrators such as MicroAge. pcOrder.com is being spun off to the public by Trilogy Software, a privately held developer of sales-automation tools.
